Yet another new artist you should get familiar with, is Tyler the Creator, front man for Odd Future. Odd Future is a hip hop collective based out of Los Angeles, CA. Odd Future is short for Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, and it can be seen abreviated OFWGKTA. As a collective they have release several mixtapes which you can get for free at oddfuture.com

On the strength of these mixtapes and their web presence, OFWGKTA have sold out shows in NYC and London. Since the beginning of this year they have performed on the Jimmy Kimmel show and at the MTVu Woodie Awards. They held a showcase at SXSW in Austin in March. In April, they are set to perform at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in CA. And later this summer they’re on the bills of the massive UK festivals of Reading and Leeds. Not a bad start for the group. .
